My thoughts: I give it a ⊗ I have to place this book in my ‘did not finish’ pile. Rarely do I give up on a book; I just try to slog through it because there must be a good reason people have rated it with 4 or 5 stars. I couldn’t get past 50% on this one. There was too much drama, angst, regret, anger…you name it. I just wanted to little bit of happiness somewhere in here…and I wasn’t getting it. So…DNF.

Hot as things get in the bedroom, it doesn’t take them long to realize there’s more between them than mind-blowing sex and their pain. But the heaviness is still there, threatening to pull them under, and if they can’t open up with each other to lighten the load, the weight just might be enough to crush them both.
