Alphas Like Us

My thoughts: I give it ❣❣❣❣ I rounded up from 3.75. I didn’t enjoy this installment as much as the two books starring these MC’s.  The book showcased the dynamics of the families and they are incredibly co-dependent. And no one seems to notice!
The HMC Philanthropies plot was over disappointingly fast and was underwhelming, and plot lines were set up here and there then they were ignored for long lengths of time before being picked up again (the porn star and  Xander’s pills) and never fleshed out. I also felt like the last scene with Rowin was contrived, it of came out of nowhere and it appears to have been added as a way to eliminate him as a source of tension between the MC’s.
But ultimately I would read an entire book of these characters because I enjoy them and the secondary characters quite a bit (co-dependency and all).
